Conference Speakers

Conference - July 24-26, 2014                        

Grace Bible Church plans to host its second Biblical Counseling Conference in July 2014. We are excited about the opportunity to have the following excellent speakers ministering to us:

Brad Bigney. Brad has been a pastor and husband for 25 years. He earned his M.Div from Columbia Biblical Seminary, is a NANC certified counselor and has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Grace Fellowship Evangelical Free Church in Florence, KY since 1996. He and his dear wife Vicki have five children.



Ken Sande worked as a mechanical engineer and lawyer before founding Peacemaker Ministries. He teaches globally, and his book, The Peacemaker, has been translated into seventeen languages. In 2012, he founded a new ministry Relational Wisdom 360, to equip Christians to "get upstream" of conflict by building healthy relationships. Ken and his wife, Corlette, have two children.



Rob Green.  Rob serves as the Pastor of Counseling and Seminary Ministries at Faith Church in Lafayette, IN. He also serves as Chair and instructor for the M.A. in Biblical Counseling at Faith Bible Seminary. Rob has a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Ohio State, M.Div from Baptist Bible Seminary, and a Ph.D from Baptist Bible Seminary. He and his wife Stephanie joined the Faith Church staff in August 2005.



Chris Moles. Chris is Pastor of Grace Community - a Christian and Missionary Alliance (CMA) church in Eleanor, West Virginia which he helped to plant. Chris is the Director of a counseling center in Scott Depot, WV and holds various certifications in preventing domestic violence, intervention and education. Chris and his wife Kathleen have two young sons.



Steve Viars.  Senior Pastor at Faith Church in Lafayette, IN., ACBC Fellow and board-member, BCC board member, Vision of Hope board president, instructor and counselor at FBCM, and conference speaker. Steve has a BS in Bible from Baptist Bible College (Clarks Summit, PA), M.Div from Grace Theological Seminary and D.Min in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. Steve and his wife Kris have three children and one grandchild.


Tom Maxham is a retired Deputy Fire Chief. He earned his M.A. in Biblical Counseling from The Master's College and is a certified counselor with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ACBC - Formerly, NANC) and the Institute for Biblical Counseling and Discipleship (IBCD - San Diego).  He is currently a staff counselor with IBCD and has been counseling since 2003.
