BCC Speakers


July 18-20, 2019 Conference

We are excited about the opportunity to have the following excellent speakers ministering to us:

Randy Patten.  Director of Training and Advancement, Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Randy led the organization for sixteen years as the Executive Director when it was known as the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC). He has served as a senior pastor and a pastor to pastors and consultant to churches. He was a trainer and counselor at Faith Biblical Counseling Ministries in Lafayette, IN, for over twenty-four years. Randy and Cindy have been married for forty-four years and have two adult married children and six grandchildren and are longtime members of College Park Church, Indianapolis, IN.

Daniel Berger II is the founder and director of Alethia International Ministries. He is an experienced pastor, counselor, school administrator and author of numerous books on counseling, practical theology, education and the history and philosophy of the mental health construct. Daniel studied at Bob Jones University and Florida Int'l University and earned his B.S. in counseling, an M.S. in counseling/psychology, M.A. in pastoral studies and a doctorate in pastoral theology. He and his wife Oriana have 4 children.

 

Kevin Carson grew up in Bowling Green, KY and attended Baptist Bible College in Springifled, MO. There he met his wife Kelly and married in 1994. In 2002, God brought a team together with them to start Sonrise. Kevin also serves as a member of the Ozark Rotary Club and teaches at Baptist Bible Graduate School. Kevin is a frequent speaker at ACBC conferences and serves as Adjunct Faculty at Faith Seminary in Lafayette, IN.  Kevin and Kelly have 4 children and live in Ozark, MO.

 

Dan and Pam Gannon. Dr. Dan and Pam Gannon serve as part of the counseling team at Grace Bible Church, in Bozeman, Montana and Dan serves on the elder board as well. Dan, as a retired Orthopedic Surgeon and Pam, as a registered nurse, bring their understanding of medical issues into the biblical counseling world and use their training as certified Biblical Counselors to address many of the aspects of the relationship between the medical world and Biblical counseling. Dan and Pam are also frequent speakers at training conferences hosted by ACBC around the country. Dan and Pam also teach several classes in the biblical counseling program at Montana Bible College. Dan and Pam have two grown children.

Pastor Brent Aucoin and his wife Janet came on staff at Faith Church in 1998. Brent is president of Faith Bible Seminary, Pastor of Seminary and Soul Care at Faith Church in Lafayette, IN.  He is ACBC certified, an instructor and counselor at FBCM and a frequent retreat and conference speaker.  Brent has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State, M.S. in Engineering from Purdue, M.Div from Central Seminary, Th.M from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and a Ph.D from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA.

 

Brad Wright earned his BS from Montana State and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Engineering from Penn State.  Brad's career has focused mostly on product design and development and has included work in aerospace, architecture, research and academia. Brad is ACBC certified and serves on the Elder Board and Counseling Committee at Grace Bible Church.. Brad is married to Cindy and has 2 adult daughters.
