About Ministries at Grace
As Christians, we are always becoming something, we are always moving in some direction. We are either aggressively pursuing our walk with God and the Word of God or we are declining and moving toward spiritual dullness. There is no in-between. The author of Hebrews says in Chapter 5 that the Hebrew Christians, who had once been sharp, had allowed themselves to become dull. Consequently, they were no longer in a fit spiritual state to understand basic teachings, let alone disciple someone else. Effectively, the writer says “Just look at yourselves! You have been Christians long enough so that you ought to be teaching others, but you still need someone to teach you.”
God expects every Christian to grow to spiritual maturity. Not necessarily to have the gift of teaching (Romans 12:7), but to grow to the point where he or she can disciple someone else. God expects this from you. It isn’t optional.
At Grace, we view all ministries as an opportunity to grow spiritually. Through ministry, we have the opportunity to be pleasing to God by growing. The more we grow spiritually, the more effective we are at being a blessing to others. Whether the Lord is leading you to working with children (see Children’s Ministries), praying for each other (see Prayer), sharpening your understanding of how God’s Word works in our lives (see Adult Ministries), or something else, there is a place where your gifts are needed in the Body of Christ.
Please don’t just read about our ministries and turn away; think about where you can serve, pray about where you can serve, and then do it! (Matthew 7:17-20)
Ministry Flyers
This flyer is typically updated in September and January. A wide range of ministries are listed, but if you are struggling to find something that “seems right” for you; please contact one of our pastors.
Footsteps of Paul Cruise
Join Pastor Bryan Hughes as we study our way through the teachings of Paul utilizing geography, archaeology, people, and prophecy.
Visit the Biblically significant areas of the Apostles Paul, John, Timothy, and Peter and have an optional extension to Rome to visit the important sites of the Apostle Paul and the Early Church. Pastor Bryan has thought of everything you will need for a full and memorable journey!
You will have ample time traveling at a leisurely pace, with plenty of free time to relax and just the right amount of fellowship and sights. If you have more time, you can do the optional Rome extension. In Rome, you will see the most important Biblical sites and stay in a very central location in order to see the other beautiful monuments of the Eternal City.
